Everybody loves having some greenery at their home and plants are the best way to add needed greenery and freshness and if these indoor plants also purify the air of your surrounding to absorb all the toxins carcinogenic agents and harmful chemicals is like an added benefit, they take harmful gases out of the atmosphere and sequester them in their roots and cells.


1. Hedra helix

8. Rubber plant

A rubber plant is also known as ficus elastica, it is a beautiful indoor air purifying plant, it is species of flowering plant and it is known to remove formaldehyde which is commonly found near wooden furniture, they can grow into a large tree, they produce a lot of oxygen and eliminate air toxins removing mold spores and bacteria from the air.

Growing conditions : They require brighter light and a lot of it but it doesn’t require direct sunlight, so placing it near a window is an ideal place, also this plant is ok with underwatering so watering it in every 3-4 days is recommended.

9. Boston fern

Boston fern is a type of sword fern. Is a species of fern in the family lomariopsidaceae, They are one of the best plants for indoor air purification.

Growing conditions: like most indoor plants Boston fern needs a cool place with high humidity and indirect sunlight, when placed indoors it is ideal to provide additional humidity and make sure to keep the soil moist do not let the soil dry completely, the leaves will turn yellow if the humidity is not high enough, store them in garage basement where the temperature doesn’t go below 55-degree Fahrenheit.

Last but not least aloe vera is the most easily and abundantly available plant, aloe vera plant acts as an air purifier by removing harmful pollutants from the air taking up carbon dioxide,

Conditions to place: a sunny window is an ideal spot for it to be placed where it can receive plenty of indirect sunlight, but too much bright direct sunlight can brown aloe vera leaves.
